SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY
WEALTHCORE consistently acts sustainably at the corporate, fund and property level. We demonstrate institutional credibility through our attitude, our management processes, our commitment to institutions and, last but not least, through our fund properties and investment decisions.
AFTER THE DUTY COMES THE CURE - OUR STRATEGY FOR DEALING WITH SUSTAINABILITY RISKS
By building and managing sustainable properties, we can contribute to the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. Reducing emissions in the building sector - responsible for 39% of global CO2 emmissions- will be one of the largest collective efforts towards decarbonisation in Europe.
This is why we not only incorporate ESG criteria (environment, social and governance) into our investment processes and consider the environmental impact of our ecological footprint during the construction and operation of the property, but have also anchored ecological and social sustainability in our corporate strategy. As a group of companies, we believe that long-term success is only possible by adapting to climate change.
To underline this, United Benefits Holding - and with it WEALTHCORE - signed the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment ("UN PRI") in December 2021.
LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY
Sustainability is the central compass for us in all areas of our actions. We consider possible consequences in every decision we make. This applies to short-term and long-term investment decisions as well as to our corporate orientation. Exclusion criteria are central to the risk assessment to avoid disadvantageous investment decisions. They pursue the goal of preventing adverse effects on the environment (PAIs - Principal Adverse Impacts).
We take these into account when purchasing properties through the constantly evolving WEALTHCORE ESG Investment Score, which forms the basis of our funds in accordance with Article-9 of the Disclosure Regulation.
WEALTHCORE's primary focus is onCO2 reduction and energy efficiency during the construction and operation of the properties. We place particular emphasis on the use of renewable energy sources. All our properties are measured against the Carbon Risk Real Estate (CRREM) Monitor and we strive to comply with the Paris
1.5 °C pathway for all properties
