Munich, February 18, 2025.

Wealthcore Investment Management is further expanding its transaction and asset management: Jens Zimmermann is joining the Munich-based investment manager as Senior Director Transaction and Asset Management. The 33-year-old real estate expert will be responsible for the acquisition of residential and residential-like properties in Germany and Austria in the mid double-digit million range.

"We are currently developing several new investment strategies in the core and value-add segment in order to meet the different risk/return profiles of our investors. Jens Zimmermann will significantly strengthen this area with his expertise," says Manuel Bugl, Managing Director at Wealthcore Investment Management. Zimmermann's track record of Europe-wide transactions amounts to around 350 million euros. In various management positions over the past ten years, he has managed assets under management (AuM) of around EUR 1.5 billion across all asset classes.

Zimmermann's core competencies include the execution of complex transactions as well as the systematic development and implementation of value enhancement strategies. At Wealthcore, he will primarily develop core and value-add concepts for institutional investors. The integration of ESG criteria into the investment strategies is a central component of the investment approach.

Before joining Wealthcore, Zimmermann was Director of Investment Management at DeA Capital Real Estate, where he developed investment strategies for micro-apartments, among other things. Prior to that, he was Senior Manager and Head of Frankfurt Branch at Montano Real Estate, where he was responsible for setting up and managing the branch office there. At the KanAm Grund Group, he was responsible for international mandates as Senior Asset and Investment Manager, and at M&G Real Estate he was responsible for various asset management portfolios as Senior Associate.

This appointment underlines Wealthcore's growth strategy in the German-speaking market. The focus is on building diversified portfolios that include both classic core profiles and value-add strategies. The company plans to further expand its market position, particularly in the residential and residential-related sectors.
